Principal Leadership Award Scoring Rubric

Below is the rubric we use to evaluate religious and independent school principal Leadership Award applications. 

I.    Professional Growth (maximum = 10 points)

Based on:

Behaviors principal has engaged in that increase 
​his/her capacity as an instructional leader

Applicant should have addressed his/her
involvement in the following:

·       Membership and offices
​        in professional organizations
·       Community Leadership
·       Awards & Honors
·       Publications, articles, and presentations
·       Professional Development Activities   

II.  Short Answer Principal Questions ​(maximum 45 points)

III.    Letters of Recommendation (maximum = 33 points)

Only three letters of recommendation required. At least one MUST be from a current faculty member or teacher. At least one MUST be from a parent or community member. The third can be from a current faculty member, teacher, parent or community member.
